Good to know

The Raven House sits on a quiet mountainside outside Bryson City, overlooking a peaceful valley with a few neighboring cabins nearby. The cabin features: - 2 king-size bedrooms - open-concept living area with a comfortable queen sleeper sofa (sleeps up to 6 guests total) - 1 large bath with a double vanity - garage-turned game room with ping pong, darts, and a shuffleboard table - laundry room with washer, dryer, iron & ironing board - fully stocked kitchen with coffee maker, French press, cookware, and basic essentials - linens including sheets, towels, extra blankets, and pillows - starter amounts of paper towels, toilet paper, laundry detergent, dishwasher detergent, coffee, sugar, and creamer pods Redesigned in 2023 by Company 114 Interiors, the cabin blends modern comfort with relaxed mountain style. Outside, enjoy mountain views from the deck, relax in the hot tub pergola, unwind in hammock chairs or porch swings, and gather around the fire pit in the evening. The cabin is reached via a somewhat steep gravel driveway at the top of winding mountain roads. While some may feel more comfortable in 4 Wheel Drive, we’ve been able to navigate just fine in our Prius. There is ample level parking at the top, accommodating multiple vehicles. Pets and children are welcome but should be supervised, as the cabin sits on a steep ridge without a fully fenced area. Please see Pet Policy for details.

Other Details to Note

Accessibility and Availability

Neighborhood

Our secluded cabin is nestled in a private valley surrounded by preserved forests and less than a mile from the Little Tennessee river. From here you can relax in the serenity of the mountain views or venture 20min to quaint Bryson City for the train and other fun or 15 min to the Nantahala Outdoor Center for rafting. The most scenic drives in the Smoky Mountains will be right outside the driveway, and it is just a short distance from the Tsali Biking trails and Fontana Lake adventures. There is also a long trail that leads into the Nantahala National Forest that backs up to the property!

Guest Access

Guests have private access to the entire cabin. Two small storage areas (a cabinet in the laundry room and a closet in the game room) are locked for host supplies. A Ring security camera with floodlight faces the driveway for guest safety.

Beautiful Airbnb with a great view of the mountains! About an hour from the Great Smoky Mountains and close to downtown. Very quiet and pleasant. There is a steep driveway up to the cabin, just something to be made aware of.

This Airbnb had an absolutely beautiful view! The stars were unbeatable. The privacy was nice and the inside was spotless. Jennifer was very pleasant to talk with and provided many places to check out/eat at. 10/10 Hope to come back again!

My boyfriend and I went to the cabin for a getaway for my spring break. It was very relaxing, driving up a mountain is terrifying but after that, we had such a great time. Played darts, connect four and enjoyed the hot tub. The hot tub was amazing, I truly enjoyed the fact it was clean and wasn’t white at the bottom. 1000% recommend.

We had a wonderful stay and would happily return! The house is clean and comfortable and Jennifer & Aleksander responded immediately to any questions we had. The location was great and we were able to pack a lot of adventures in to our very short stay.

We had such a wonderful time at this cabin! We wanted a few days away to enjoy some local hiking and some relaxation away from it all, and this place provided both! The cabin was well equipped with everything we needed (and then some), and it was beautifully furnished. The game room and the hot tub were our two favorite things- we played lots of darts and shuffleboard and were able to soak in the nice hot water during the cold evening air! Everywhere we hiked was within an hour’s drive, and we were only a few minutes away from the supermarket. I especially appreciated the information in the binder naming the closest amenities, this came in handy when I unexpectedly had to go to the ER one morning and we weren’t sure which hospital was closest. The hosts were extremely quick to respond, we had a couple small questions about the property and we got a response within minutes both times I reached out. Thank you for such a lovely stay!

We loved our stay! The cabin was close to a large river that our dogs enjoyed during the day. The home itself had everything we needed for a cozy few days staying in. Jennifer was a great host!
