Escape to our secluded mountain oasis where rustic boho chic meets breathtaking views. Enjoy a ride on the Great Smoky Mountain Railroad, fishing in the Little Tennessee River, hiking in the Smoky Mountains, mountain biking the Tsali, and kayaking or rafting at the NOC. Unwind in the hot tub, by the fire pit, or in the game room with ping pong, darts, and shuffleboard. With 2 king-size bedrooms and a queen-size pull-out sofa, our cozy cabin accommodates up to 6 guests for your perfect getaway!
Good to know
The Raven House is located in secluded rural Bryson City area, perched on a mountainside above a quiet valley with neighboring cabin rentals. The cabin offers long-range views from its cozy front porch. We are now accepting reservations for the holidays, however no arrivals and departures on Dec 24 or Dec 25. The Cabin features: - 2 king-size bedrooms - open concept living area with comfortable queen-size sleeper sofa, allowing entire cabin to accommodate up to 6 guests - 1 large bath with a double vanity - garage-turned-game-room with ping pong, darts, and a shuffleboard table - laundry room with washer, dryer, iron & ironing board - basic amenities such as coffee maker, French press, kitchen utensils, pots & pans, soap, shampoo & conditioner - linens including sheets & bed covers, towels, extra blankets & pillows - starter amounts of paper towels, toilet paper, laundry detergent, dishwasher detergent, coffee, sugar & creamer pods Newly designed in 2023 by Kathy Boardman of Company 114 Interiors & Designs, the cabin provides modern comforts and a relaxing boho chic vibe while maintaining the cozy rustic feel. - Outside, guests can enjoy mountain views and amenities such as a lighted path, hot tub pergola, hammock chairs, porch swings, and a fire pit. - The cabin is reached via a somewhat steep gravel driveway at the top of winding mountain roads. While some may feel more comfortable in 4 Wheel Drive, we've been able to navigate just fine in our Prius. - There is ample level parking at the top, accommodating multiple vehicles. - Pets and children are welcome but need to be supervised, and pets should be tethered, as the cabin is located on the side of a steep ridge without a fully fenced area. Neighborhood
Our secluded cabin is nestled in a private valley surrounded by preserved forests and less than a mile from the Little Tennessee river. From here you can relax in the serenity of the mountain views or venture 20min to quaint Bryson City for the train and other fun or 15 min to the Nantahala Outdoor Center for rafting. The most scenic drives in the Smoky Mountains will be right outside the driveway, and it is just a short distance from the Tsali Biking trails and Fontana Lake adventures. There is also a long trail that leads into the Nantahala National Forest that backs up to the property!
Guest Access
We make the entire cabin available and private for our guests. The only exceptions are a locked storage cabinet in the laundry room and the locked supply closet in the game room which are for host storage only. We also have a single ring security camera with flood light that captures audio & video and faces the driveway for the safety of our guests.

We recommend you get around by automobile. Though we manage easily enough with our low clearance hybrid, we advise our guests to use caution and drive slowly when navigating the windy gravel mountain roads.
